Review: Rock Wedding by Nalini Singh

When all you've ever dreamed of is a family of your own, it's difficult to wholeheartedly love someone who doesn't return that love the way you need.  Sarah loves Abe but he is battling demons that inevitably destroys their relationship.

Abe's demons drives him down a long winding path and he can't stop the downward spiral until he loses Sarah.

I really didn't like Sarah in the beginning, she was weak and I tend to dislike female characters who are weak. It reminds me of those women out there who expect others to "save" them. Instead of working hard and being something fierce they would rather walk behind while others shine.

However, that changed, Without Abe, Sarah learned to become a very strong woman and I ended up falling in love with her.

Will she forgive Abe and give him a second chance? Does he deserve one? There was no sugar coating Abe's actions and he owned up to those actions. No excuses. Can they learn to forgive and move on?

WOW! There were so many tears for both Sarah and Abe. There were times I hated Abe but ultimately I couldn't hate him for long. They both have pasts that have influenced who they are today and they have both grown and learned from their mistakes.

This was my first experience with Nalini Singh and I was not disappointed. My only wish was that I had read the previous books in this series.
